MComix is designed to handle comic books, western comics and manga/manhwa reading style. MComix reads most common image formats like JPG, PNG and support a variety of container / compression format like CBR/RAR, CBZ/ZIP, CB7/7zip, PDF. Your images can also be archived using supported format and then viewed using MComix, without to change the file extension to CBR, CBZ for example.

Install MComix in Pop!_OS (Ubuntu and derivatives)
MComix 1.00 can be installed:
$ sudo apt-get install mcomix
To install MComix 1.2.1, the latest version, we need to use WebUpd8 PPA:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8 $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mcomix
If MComix can not open your Comic Book (CBR/RAR, CB7/7zip), you need to install compression support. Check this post.
Install MComix in Windows
Binary file for Windows can be downloaded from MComix Files, download mcomix-1.2.1.win32.all-in-one.zip, extract and launch MComix.exe
MComix for Windows includes 7zip, no need external compression tools.
